Low-frequency pulsed electromagnetic fields (ELF-MF)

Pulsed electromagnetic therapy (PEMF)

“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration” – Nikolas Tesla.

Although PEMF therapy has been used in medicine for the past century, approval from the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) was only granted in 1979 for the healing of non-union fractures and the stimulation of bone growth. As a result of research that followed, the FDA later approved the use of specific PEMF therapy devices at varying frequencies for: post-operative oedema and pain, urinary incontinence and muscle stimulation, cervical fusion, depression and anxiety, brain cancer and migraine headaches.

The effects of using lower band PEMF therapies like Viofor JPS System devices have shown to

Lymphatic & cardiovascular circulation

Correction of improper local blood flow to limbs, haematomas, decreased oedema/swelling.

Musculoskeletal system

Osteoporosis, conditions post bone fracture/break, conditions after surgery, pseudojoints, muscle regeneration, conditions after stroke, degenerative conditions

Pain conditions

Rheumatoid inflammations, joint injuries, fibromyalgia, trauma of soft tissue, migraines, burn injuries, injuries, bedsores, nerve damage, orthodontic treatment, periapical tooth inflammation

Psychiatry

Neuroses, sleep disorders, depression, anxiety, psychic/mental tension, concentration.

Modulate endocrine and immune systems

The magnetic loop coil is the foundation of all pulsed electromagnetic frequency (PEMF) devices today, owing to the innovations of Nikola Tesla that date back to the 1800’s. Other pioneer physicians such as George Lakhovsky, Antoine Priore, Robert Becker and Abraham Liboff developed the understanding of the bioenergy and living organism’s susceptibility to magnetic fields. Since its discovery, the development of various PEMF devices followed with a bloom in interest by the late 20th century where the use of such therapies were already widespread in Europe.

Cellular aberration and dysfunction are major contributing factors to the progression of pathological diseased states. The maintenance of cellular health and function are not passive processes, but ones that require a continuous and high input of energy. PEMF exposure to the human body of variable frequencies and intensities have been a topic of clinical research for decades. Although PEMF therapy does not cure disease, the effects of frequency-specific therapies have shown to up-regulate and influence biological processes which have proven to be beneficial to human health.
